Ms. Montenegro provides leadership of NeuroSpring's computer and electrical engineering projects as Technical Project Manager. She also serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Ody-C, a medical device start-up company that is developing the Virtual Neurologist.

Mark Borsody M.D., Ph.D.

Mark Borsody

Dr. Borsody is a practicing neurologist and neurophysiologist. He has more than 20 years of experience in basic and clinical research and 12 years in executive roles in pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Dr. Borsody has previously served as Board member and Secretary for NeuroSpring.

Renata Barreto Ph.D.

Renata Barreto

Dr. Barreto studied Jurisprudence and Social Policy at the School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley. Her career focus is on the ethical use of artificial intelligence in the provision of healthcare services. She is a Eugene-Cota Robles Fellowship awardee and Fellow of the American Political Science Association.

Dawn Bielawski Ph.D.

Dawn Bielawski

Dr. Bielawski is a freelance scientific and medical editor and published researcher in the fields of environmental science, pediatrics, and neuroscience. She is a member of the Wayne State University Institutional Review Board, American Medical Writers Association, and Council of Science Editors. She previously served as a NeuroSpring Board member for several years and is a founding member.

Chisa Yamada M.D.

Chisa Yamada

Dr. Yamada has medical training in both ophthalmology and pathology, and has led NeuroSpring research programs in headache conditions. She is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology at the University of Michigan.

Andrew Bremond, B.S.

Andrew Bremond

Mr. Bremond earned his undergraduate degree in computer science from the University of California - Riverside, and is currently a Master's student in computer science there. His experience in developing artificial intelligence to detect abnormal postures in children with autism is helping to guide a team of undergraduate interns from Sacramento State to develop a similar function for NeuroSpring's Virtual Neurologist.

Sailesh Dwivedy, M.S.

Sailesh Dwivedy

Mr. Dwivedy is an AI/ML Applied Scientist Intern at NeuroSpring and with a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder who specializes in speech processing, NLP, computer vision, supervised machine learning, and model compression. He previously led impactful AI initiatives in the Fintech sector, driving innovation and operational efficiency. Passionate about building scalable, end-to-end AI solutions that bridge research and real-world applications.

Yibo Li, Ph.D.

Yibo Li

Dr. Li earned his first doctoral degree in electrical engineering and is now completing a second in computer engineering. He is deeply experienced in advanced natural language processing and in supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms. Dr. Li is a U.S. Army Reserve soldier.

Josephine Borsetto

A former NeuroSpring Scholar, Ms. Borsetto is a physiological science major at UCLA and plans to head to medical school after her undergraduate studies. She is passionate about health, fitness, lab work and medicine and loves working for NeuroSpring!

Grace Del Carmen M.S.

The first NeuroSpring intern, Ms. Del Carmen is currently a senior at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She is studying Behavioral Neuroscience with a minor in International Affairs. She is currently completing an accelerated degree with a Masters in Bioinformatics with a concentration in Omics. She is currently applying for medical school.

Jose Del Carmen

Jose Del Carmen

Mr. Del Carmen works on numerous NeuroSpring projects ranging from database preparation to Spanish language translations and Latin America outreach activities. He is a computer engineering student at Santa Clara College.
